There is a turning point happening in 2024. I can’t see it going much longer.

The most fascinating thing to watch is portfolio diversification. If you are a 60/40 stocks/bonds investor you have no real diversification. If you have held – surprise, surprise – gold with the SP500 you have been not only diversified, but have reaped gains in both since 2019 equally.

Oh do tell. That devaluation of the dollar is not happening against other devaluing currencies, but against tangibles. And gold is the one tangible they can not control.

I’m not here to sell gold, but the idea that all is not well in the dollar world. Gold is a very long term store of value. And in the last few years, the SP500 has gone NO WHERE in terms of gold. If you have held the SP500 you have been okay, but what happens when it finally resets to reality?

There is a reckoning coming one way or another. Be ready.
